3rd day was great!

So the third day was fabulous! I really am getting close to my team leader. I am also getting to know all these people and really enjoying them, ESP my room mate We have a great bond! So we got our uniforms, boots, tshirts, etc. That whole process took the after up. I was a little homesick but I am pushing through. I miss my mom and fam a lot, but especially my dog. I miss my friends a lot!

2nd day was successful!

Woke up this morning a little sad and homesick. I miss my family and friends! I woke up and went to breakfast and ate a shake. So then we had a meeting in the chapel. Then we went to a computer lab setting up some accounts of some sort. Later we had lunch, then we went to a meeting about driving which took a while. Then we went to Wal-Mart and then to dinner in the cafeteria! It was great, I am tired and my roomie and I are getting along great! Happy for this experience but missing the fam! Miss ya momma! 

First day

So I arrived at the airport! Both flights were awesome! I greeted the Americorp staff, and they are all awesome! 20 or so kids pilled into a bus and drove to Vicksburg,MI. We arrived at campus and were greated and were sent to sign papers. After that we put our bags into our rooms and ate dinner. Then we went to a meeting in the chapel. Now I have showered and in my bed! I have had a fabulous 1st day!! Whoo

Hello All,
This blog is for myself and all that want to know what I am doing in Americorps! I am leaving two weeks from today and I am ecstatic! I really have no fears at this point. I just want to also say, this blog is just for fun and I am no E.E. Cummings, so please don't judge me on my writing skills. So enjoy!
