Nawlins baby!
So September the 27th the Inauguration was held and of course we had to have a celebratory night out. I went out with one of my friends with her family to a nice dinner at a local Italian resturant. After that we went to a local spot to dance. We went home all tired and worn out. So I woke up Saturday morning at 8:10, I look at my phone see a text from one of my friends saying be in front of the main building at 8:45 and as my mother would say "lets through it into high gear", and I did. So the taxi cab was already their in front of of my dorm. I hopped into the cab and we went to the car rental place and eventually all 5 of us were in a black Toyota, Camry. We arrived in New Orleans in 3 1/2 hours and put our stuff down and started to explore the wondrous city. We were staying at a frieds of a friends right in the city. We shopped and ate at DAT DOG, we then went back home to change for the night and we went out that night not getting back until 4:30am. I loved the night life and Bourbon street. Sunday morning we woke up and were made breakfast by my new roommies. We went to Cafe Du Monde and visited the Market and had some delicious beignets. We went home around 3ish and would go back in a heart beat, but nothing beats my old kentucky home.
